Here's a sample from me...
For this card I used the beautiful Butterfly Catcher,
She a lovely elegant fairy and sits very nicely on a 5 1/2" square.
I dived into my copics for this one, and thought her dress would look lovely in yellow like the flowers in spring time.
I've added sparkle to her wings, and little detail dots on her dress in white pen.
I've added colour to the edges of her hoping it would look like she was magical and had a ethereal glow, not sure how well this worked.
The background is all copics too, I've used rubbing alcohol with a brush to get the bokeh effect, love how this came out, it's like she's flying.
And because we love to know what colours I've used here they are.

Today, we’ve enlisted some super talented designers to inspire you with ideas on how to use these beautiful new garden fairies! Hop along for lots of fun and inspiration!

Have fun on the HOP!
Enjoy a wonderfully creative day!

Peony & Bud Paperbabe Stamps

We're introducing a new stamp set on the Paperbabe Stamps blog today and here's a couple of my samples to inspire you...

This is an A5 mixed media portrait using the Peonies in the foreground,
I was aiming for a soft colour palette but when it came to stamping the butterflies I think the whole look completely changed course, typical art flow.
I have added a hint of gold ink to the flower centres.
The whole piece has been coloured using watercolours, lots of layers. I opted for the Long loose wave hairstyle, the head & torso and female face stamps all in mini.

This next card was a very quick card to assemble, I've used distress inks through my polka dot stencil
and stamped and heat embossed the peony in black embossing powder, for a fun and bright card.

Pop by the other talented designers to see their gorgeous peony projects.

I will update the blog again soon, with news on my next shows, challenges and new stamps.

Enjoy a wonderfully creative day
